📋 Description

• Manage and analyze premium-related financial transactions and compile relevant coverage and financial documents. • Generate premium invoices based on policy terms and coverage, ensuring accurate calculations and adherence to underwriting guidelines. • Receive premium payments and generate reports on collections, outstanding balances, aging receivables, and overdue accounts. • Maintain accurate policyholder, premium, and payment records in the company database or management system. • Review records and client data, and handle policyholder inquiries regarding invoices and billing discrepancies. • Reconcile premium payments with policy records and identify discrepancies. • Investigate irregularities in premium accounting records and take corrective action. • Perform data entry, policy issuance, and policy information modifications. • Identify opportunities to improve premium accounting efficiency through automation, system enhancements, or workflow optimization. • Assist internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in premium accounting or accounting in the Insurance Industry is preferred. • Experience in premium accounting or accounting in the insurance industry. • Ability to generate accurate premium invoices and process payments via multiple methods. • Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and accounting principles. • Ability to reconcile premium payments and policy records. • Ability to support internal and external audits with documentation, reconciliations, and explanations. • Ability to perform data entry, policy issuance, and policy information modifications in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
