📋 Description

• Drive product underwriting strategy and align supporting talent and capital to drive results • Define the product-specific UW strategy consistent with capital provider appetite, premium expectations, etc. • Manage execution of UW strategy, including production/performance by UWer • Manage product line portfolio performance • Monitor and refine product offering, including geographic expansion • Develop and maintain pricing models • Arrange bespoke capital and coordinate within MGU • Attract, develop and retain UW talent • Identify and maintain other critical external partnerships • Provide transparency on results and share best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Actuarial or Business Administration required • 10+ years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance underwriting • State P&C and/or surplus line license is required • Industry designations like Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), ARM, AU-M, etc., are a plus
