• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems and develop complete repair or replacement solutions for customers • Ensure work order timelines and priorities are met using the work order management system • Communicate clear, effective, and consistent updates to customers, databases, and stakeholders • Establish processes and tools to proactively prevent Notices of Violation • Support customer service needs related to Notices of Violation and ensure facility compliance schedules are met • Identify and proactively resolve potential compliance issues and escalate for legal compliance assistance when needed • Obtain, review, and approve repair quotes • Support construction and capital projects under the guidance of an environmental project engineer • Run ad-hoc reports and build basic reports using information from multiple systems and databases • Monitor and report individual KPIs • Develop and support policies, SOPs, procedures, BMPs, and other materials • Work weekends, stay late, or change work schedules as necessary to meet business needs • Perform other duties as assigned
• High school diploma/GED required • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred • Five (5) years or more of fuel system and/or facility maintenance management and/or environmental compliance industry experience required • One (1) to three (3) years of direct customer relationship-building responsibility required • Strong problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, contractors, and customers • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong technical aptitude in electronics and/or mechanical systems and downstream fueling systems • Ability to troubleshoot complete systems, not just individual components • Advanced understanding of language and communications for positive customer experiences • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel pivot tables • Advanced knowledge of downstream fueling systems and related fueling equipment • Obtain knowledge, complete continuous training, and/or maintain 2 to 3 relevant certifications, such as compliance-related, ICC, AB Operator, Gasboy, INCON, FFP, Six Sigma, or Project Management • Willingness to work weekends, stay late, and/or change work schedules as needed • Ability to travel 1–10% • Agreement to Ryder Telecommuting and Permanent Remote Work Agreement(s) and Policies
