📋 Description

• Undertake technical reviews of Fire Risk Assessments • Support consultant development • Carry out competency assessments • Contribute to continual improvement of SP205 accredited management systems • Perform home-based technical review and quality assurance activities • Conduct occasional site visits • Undertake competency assessments and consultancy projects • Collaborate with the wider Fire Safety Team • Support leading UK commercial property organisations and their highest-profile assets • Shape technical excellence across the business • Maintain accreditation standards • Drive continual improvement throughout Fire Safety services

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience undertaking commercial and residential Fire Risk Assessments • Experience working within a BAFE SP205 certificated environment • Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards including PAS 79, BS 9999, BS 9991, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order • Experience reviewing, quality assuring, validating, or technically auditing Fire Risk Assessments • Proven technical ability and sound professional judgement • Excellent report writing, IT, communication, and coaching skills • Experience supporting, mentoring, or developing Fire Risk Assessors • A high-level qualification in Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related discipline • Chartered or Incorporated membership of a recognised professional body such as the IFE, IFSM, or equivalent • Previous experience as an SP205 Validator, Lead Assessor, Technical Reviewer, or Internal Auditor • Knowledge of Higher-Risk Buildings and the Building Safety Act 2022 • Understanding of passive fire protection, compartmentation, fire doors, and external wall systems • Experience undertaking consultant competency assessments and technical sign-off activities • Full driving licence • Access to your own vehicle • Applicants must not require sponsorship to remain in the UK
