📋 Description

• Oversee accounting for billing, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, tax and special analyses • Maintain general ledger reconciliations and documentation for balance sheet accounts • Prepare financial reporting, analysis and commentary for the assigned portfolio • Support consolidation and monthly group reporting • Run annual financial statements and audits • Prepare and file VAT, sales tax and GST returns • Support the Leadership Team with tax matters and international billing • Monitor and prepare intercompany transactions • Work with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors and other service providers • Manage account reconciliations and reporting to relevant parties • Supervise and optimize accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives • Report to the Director of Accounting and Tax and interact with the CFO, Group Controlling Lead and portfolio brand managing directors

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite • Proven experience running or owning multi-GAAP accounting for a legal entity • Strong AI literacy, including hands-on use of AI tools/LLMs to automate and improve accounting work • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or similar qualification • At least 5 years of experience as an accountant • Prior work experience at a SaaS or software company • Experience with billing or revenue recognition tools such as Stripe or Chargebee • Experience with all-round accounting, including AR, AP, payroll, GL, tax and audit • Experience supporting annual audits • Independent, structured, solution-oriented and analytical working style • Strong time management and organizational skills • Strong English communication skills
