📋 Description

• Contribute to core systems while modeling high standards in code quality, testing, and design • Lead cross-team architectural initiatives focused on simplicity, scalability, and testability • Coach and mentor engineers through pairing, design reviews, and hands-on XP practices • Design solutions for performance, reliability, and distributed rendering challenges • Identify risks, resolve systemic bottlenecks, and establish effective engineering defaults • Promote TDD, pair programming, and continuous delivery • Partner with product and leadership to align short-term delivery with long-term technical health • Lead architectural discussions affecting multiple services or teams • Review code and provide actionable feedback • Improve CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years designing and shipping complex, distributed systems • Track record of leading large-scale technical initiatives that simplify and strengthen core systems • Expertise in modern backend development, ideally TypeScript/Node.js or Golang • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure • Ability to connect product goals with technical architecture across stack layers • Coaching mindset and ability to elevate others through context, guidance, and example • Ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term sustainability and technical health • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Continuous improvement mindset • SEO, web performance, or large-scale rendering infrastructure experience is a bonus
