• Define and champion the Builder Platform's vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with OneVest’s mission and internal technology goals. • Deeply understand the needs of both external partner developers and internal engineering teams through continuous research, interviews, and community feedback to identify key pain points and opportunities. • Own and prioritize the product backlog for core platform components, including public and private APIs, SDKs, developer portals, documentation, and usage monitoring tools. • Effectively manage the competing priorities and dependencies between accelerating internal feature development and fostering a thriving external ecosystem. • Partner cross-functionally with engineering and design to translate platform strategy into crystal-clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for high-quality, iterative releases. • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as internal adoption, API stability, time-to-market for new features, and developer satisfaction, sharing insights with senior management. • Evangelize the Builder Platform, driving its adoption and utility across all relevant internal and external communities.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a Product Manager or similar role, with a strong focus on building and managing developer platforms, internal tools, shared services, or APIs. • Strong command of technical concepts (e.g., RESTful APIs, webhooks, system architecture, security) and the ability to engage fluently with engineers on technical trade-offs. Prior experience working on services consumed by both internal and external parties is highly valued. • Mastery of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) applied specifically to optimize the DX—ensuring streamlined onboarding, clear documentation, frictionless integration, and rapid iteration for platform users. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and deliver continuous value through small, frequent, and measurable releases in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas, requirements, and value propositions to both technical and business audiences. • A strong passion for building ecosystems, obsessing over developer success, and creating intuitive, well-documented experiences that serve as force multipliers for the entire engineering organization.
