📋 Description

• Collaborate with managers, directors, and senior leadership on monthly productivity, variance remediation, and annual operating budgets • Coordinate and complete annual operating budgets • Manage the month-end closing cycle, including reviewing financial information and journal entries for accuracy • Maintain and report management systems and departmental statistical and financial data • Evaluate financial impacts of new programs • Formulate financial forecasts and modeling • Prepare projections for new building projects and perform rate analysis • Serve as a project coordinator and provide support and training to team members • Contribute to Sanford Health's overall financial functioning and support complex areas within Sanford • Interpret complex financial and accounting data and provide accurate analysis • Communicate with managers and all levels of management and employees orally and in writing • Document work thoroughly and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or related field required • Three years of experience required • Foundational understanding of accounting principles and standards • Ability to make forecasts based on statistical analysis • Ability to perform accurate, complex financial data analysis • Ability to interpret complex financial and accounting data • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines • Ability to mentor and take initiative in professional development • Self-directed and autonomous while working interdependently • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Attention to detail and thorough documentation • Healthcare experience is helpful • CPA, CMA, or other professional certification preferred but not required
