📋 Description

• Collaborate with managers, directors, and senior leadership on monthly productivity, variance remediation, and annual operating budgets • Complete the month-end closing cycle, including reviewing financial information and journal entries for accuracy • Maintain and report management systems and departmental statistical and financial data • Evaluate the financial impact of new programs • Formulate financial forecasts and financial models • Prepare projections for new building projects • Conduct rate analysis and other financial projects • Coordinate projects and support and train team members • Provide financial support to complex areas within Sanford Health • Apply statistical analysis to make forecasts and provide accurate, complex analysis of financial data • Interpret complex financial and accounting data • Communicate with all levels of management and employees orally and in writing • Document work thoroughly and accurately

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or related field required • Three years of experience required • Foundational understanding of accounting principles and standards • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines • Ability to mentor team members • Initiative in professional development • Ability to make forecasts based on statistical analysis • Ability to provide accurate, complex analysis of financial data • Ability to interpret complex financial and accounting data • Ability to work independently and autonomously in an interdependent role • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Attention to detail • Strong written and oral communication skills • Healthcare experience helpful • CPA, CMA, or other professional certification preferred but not required
