📋 Description

• Establish what attestation on current accelerators does and does not prove • Design and build a registry for attested-result formats, third-party auditor submissions, and independent verification • Build attested logging inside an enclave and determine what privacy-preserving audits can establish • Run end-to-end evaluations under mutual secrecy with attestation recording code and model weights • Chain attestations across pipelines and test their resilience under production load • Deploy confidential-computing stacks on accelerators from multiple supply chains • Combine hardware attestation with cryptographic techniques • Red-team the attestation chain • Publish research and collaborate with cryptographers, hardware-security colleagues, external partners, and policymakers

🎯 Requirements

• Have built something real with confidential computing or hardware enclaves (SGX, TDX, SEV-SNP, Arm CCA, GPU confidential computing), or have strong systems security fundamentals and willingness to learn on the job • Understand attestation chains • Ability to ship integrations across organisational boundaries • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, early-stage environments • ML inference serving experience and production deployment experience may be beneficial • Background in audit, certification, or PKI may be beneficial • Privacy-preserving computation experience beyond enclaves may be beneficial • Familiarity with the AI evaluations landscape may be beneficial • Experience explaining hardware guarantees to non-specialists may be beneficial • Comfortable maintaining working-hour overlap with colleagues across regions
