đź“‹ Description

• Oversee and maintain coding audit projects, including timelines, audit tools, auditor communication, deadlines, and progress reporting • Address client questions and audit project issues • Recommend auditor assignments to the Director and/or Manager • Guide auditors in establishing remote access and support them during audits • Create audit summary reports and quality-review preliminary and final audit recommendations • Ensure consistency with prior audits and among multiple auditors • Conduct client exit conferences and coding education sessions • Review final reports with clients to ensure understanding of findings and recommendations • Perform audits and education as needed • Mentor and train new auditors • Conduct annual peer-to-peer reviews and provide auditor feedback and education • Train and support colleagues on auditing tools and audit software • Support accurate time, attendance, and production entry • Identify opportunities to increase Coding Audit Services sales • Provide input on audit software enhancements, reporting, and data analytics features • Supervise colleagues who do not supervise others

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding • Strong knowledge of PPS reimbursement systems, including MS-DRG, APR-DRG, APC, and RBRVS • Minimum one year of project management experience managing contract deliverables in a healthcare setting • Proficient computer knowledge, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to travel up to 30% • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Self-motivated with commitment to high-quality project results • Customer-service focus, professionalism, flexibility, dependability, desire to learn, and commitment to excellence and the profession • Ability to maintain positive motivation and commitment to company goals • Strong presentation and speaking skills • Preferred: experience with all patient modalities and strong Professional Fee skills • Preferred: experience with encoder/grouper software products • Preferred: experience working in teaching university-size facilities • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals • Ability to prepare and present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, providers, and other customers • Ability to apply common sense and basic logic to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations • Ability to read and write English • Ability to bend, twist, lift materials up to 25 lbs., and stand, walk, sit, crawl, reach, speak, and hear
