📋 Description

• Design, build and operate AWS infrastructure across multiple regions using Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt and Helm • Own high-availability architectures, object storage at 15PB+ scale, and Kafka-based event streaming • Drive infrastructure cost optimization and shape multi-cloud and Bring Your Own Storage architectures • Build internal platform tooling for local development, clean deployments and self-service infrastructure provisioning • Establish infrastructure-as-code standards and review processes • Perform security patching, vulnerability analysis and infrastructure hardening • Share on-call responsibilities and own fixes for incidents • Reduce alert noise and operational toil • Write and defend RFCs for structural technical decisions • Collaborate with product engineers and stakeholders from scoping through production • Participate in engineering-wide technical presentations and debates

🎯 Requirements

• Deep AWS expertise • Strong Terraform experience • Solid production experience running Kubernetes • Experience designing distributed systems, including high availability, multi-region and event-driven architectures • Ability to defend technical trade-offs • Autonomous project leadership and stakeholder collaboration • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and adapt communication to different audiences • Builder mindset with experience scoping ambiguous topics, selecting solutions and taking them to production • Roughly 6+ years of experience in SRE, Platform or Infrastructure roles • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Temporal and Go • Genuine security mindset; security expertise is beneficial but not required • Passion for sports and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
