📋 Description

• Conduct in-field observations and data collection at agricultural carbon offset project sites • Interview project personnel and document site conditions relevant to verification • Capture photographic and written evidence to support audit findings • Follow SCS protocols and checklists to ensure consistency and quality of field data • Coordinate travel logistics in accordance with SCS policies • Communicate with SCS verification team to align on site visit objectives and deliverables • Submit field notes, findings, and supporting documentation within established timelines • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant carbon offset standards and methodologies (e.g., VCS, VM0042) • Participate in training sessions as needed to maintain qualification for field verification work • Adhere to SCS quality and code of conduct standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in agriculture, auditing, or inspection • Experience conducting field assessments or inspections • Strong observational and documentation skills • Ability to travel within Eastern Europe • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Comfortable working independently and coordinating remotely with a global team • Familiarity with carbon offset verification standards, especially Verras Verified Carbon Standard is preferred • Knowledge of VM0042 methodology for Improved Agricultural Land Management is preferred • Multilingual, especially in languages relevant to Eastern Europe is preferred • Proficiency in Polish is strongly preferred
