📋 Description

• Support people living with obesity to make sustainable lifestyle and behaviour changes • Provide nutritional and lifestyle interventions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team • Independently implement initial assessments and allocate service users to suitable treatment pathways • Deliver group-based and one-to-one nutritional and lifestyle interventions via video calls • Provide ongoing coaching and support through in-app messaging • Support service users on medicated and non-medicated programmes, including GLP-1 medication programmes • Attend regular multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor service-user care • Attend clinical supervision for complex or high-risk cases • Manage clinical risk, including safeguarding concerns • Maintain CPD, clinical supervision, and HCPC or AfN registration requirements • Protect confidential information in line with the Data Protection Act • Contribute to innovation projects, service evaluation, and programme development

🎯 Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Dietitian, or AfN registration as a Nutritionist (Registered Nutritionist or Registered Associate Nutritionist) • Relevant degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or a related field • Experience working in a weight management, bariatric, or eating disorder setting • Experience delivering group-based programmes • Understanding of obesity, including weight stigma • Experience or training in health coaching, behaviour change, or motivational interviewing • Ability to provide supportive, empathetic, patient-centred care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs • Ability to work fully remotely and stay motivated and organised without an office • Suitable home working setup, including a private space for confidential consultations and reliable internet • Ability to manage a caseload autonomously and collaborate with a doctor-led multidisciplinary team • Experience coordinating a healthcare service, including scheduling assessments and appointments, monitoring attendance, following up with patients, writing GP letters, and revising protocols • Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar programmes • Experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic start-up environments • Confidence using technology for patient care, recording and reviewing notes, and providing in-app coaching • HCPC or AfN registration number required with application • Availability for some early evenings and Saturdays as needed
