📋 Description

• Own integration problems end to end, from partner discovery through design, implementation, rollout, and production reliability • Lead the design and delivery of integrations moving clinical and operational data safely between Semble and external systems • Work with REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, HL7, SFTP, and iPaaS/automation flows • Work across React frontend, Node.js backend services and domain modules, GraphQL APIs, and MongoDB in a Yarn/Nx TypeScript monorepo • Turn partner specifications and product goals into technical designs, sequenced delivery plans, and clinically safe, testable solutions • Make and document architectural trade-offs • Own monitoring, alerting, incident diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and durable production fixes • Improve reliability and operability through failure handling, retries, idempotency, secrets management, multi-tenant configuration, and safe rollouts • Contribute to Semble Connect automation, including provisioning, connections, recipe/webhook patterns, and related product surfaces • Raise quality through design reviews, code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD improvements • Mentor teammates, provide feedback, and help junior engineers grow • Influence the Ecosystem Experience roadmap and technical standards while aligning stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years' professional experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript • Substantial experience operating as a senior / staff-of-one on complex features • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backends and APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) • Proven experience integrating with third-party systems, including APIs, webhooks, auth flows, retries, idempotency, credentials/secrets • Ability to design systems, define interfaces/contracts, and break down large problems • Comfort working in ambiguity and driving decisions with incomplete information • Production ownership experience, including debugging across services and reading logs, metrics, and traces • Solid automated testing habits covering unit, integration, and e2e testing • Comfort with CI/CD • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar) • Experience with cloud-hosted applications; AWS preferred • Strong written and verbal communication • Collaborative leadership, mentoring, and thoughtful code reviews • Security and privacy awareness for sensitive healthcare data • Comfort using AI coding tools • Healthcare, HL7/FHIR, lab/pharmacy, or other regulated-domain integrations is a strong plus • Experience with iPaaS/automation platforms such as Workato is a strong plus • Design systems/component libraries and large monorepo experience is a strong plus • Infrastructure as Code, observability, and multi-tenant SaaS experience is a strong plus • Experience leading technical delivery across multiple engineers or workstreams is a strong plus • Playwright or Cypress e2e experience is a strong plus • Bilingual English–French is a strong plus
