• Maintain mechanical systems at Trimpley and Shelton Water Treatment sites • Perform work in complex water-treatment process plants • Use process control systems and apply industrial mechanical installation requirements and standards • Prevent mechanical issues before they happen, helping keep communities and rivers safe • Work as part of a close-knit local Water Treatment team • Complete technical training, on-the-job development, formal assessment, and competency development • Work toward gaining a recognised second skill • Participate in required standby coverage
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical qualification or equivalent mechanical qualification • Full UK driving licence • Experience gained from process plants in any industry • Working knowledge of process control systems • Working knowledge of industrial mechanical installation requirements and standards • Willingness to work standby • Willingness to work toward gaining a recognised second skill • Monday–Thursday availability from 7:30–3:30 and Friday from 7:30–3:00, with flexibility offered on start and end times
