📋 Description

• Maintain, service and repair CHP engine-driven generating sets running on biogas and natural gas • Operate and maintain biogas upgrading plants • Support plants that clean biogas into biomethane for injection into the national grid • Travel across the Central area of the Severn Trent region from home start locations • Work outside normal hours as required for a 24/7 operation • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota

🎯 Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ, or equivalent, in electrical or mechanical engineering • Understanding of renewable energy production equipment • Knowledge of Jenbacher and Perkins spark ignition engines • Knowledge of Air Liquide or Malmberg biogas upgrading plants, or experience maintaining and fault-finding on industrial plant, engines, gas systems, rotating equipment, or process machinery • Full clean driving licence • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in varied conditions • Availability to work outside normal working hours as required • Participation in an out-of-hours standby rota
