📋 Description

• Provide verbal interpretation for therapists and Portuguese-speaking families during therapy sessions. • Assist families with translation of individual treatment plans and updates to client status. • Translate client progress to therapists based on measurable goals outlined in treatment and care plans. • Administer Quarterly Consumer Satisfaction Surveys and document results. • Offer interpretation support during family advocacy, crisis intervention, or other service-related meetings as needed. • Submit accurate invoices and documentation of services rendered. • Communicate any language or environmental barriers impacting client progress. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical standards and professional guidelines. • Perform additional interpretation-related duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement) • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Languages, Translation, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (preferred but not required) • Fluency in Portuguese and English (required) • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Must be able to work as an independent contractor (1099) • Must have or be able to obtain an LLC
