📋 Description

• Own reliability, availability and incident response for the SaaS platform from detection through postmortem • Maintain and extend cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, managed as code • Run and improve the Kubernetes-based production environment • Write production automation, with scripting as a daily responsibility • Partner with software engineering teams to make safe deployment the easy path • Advise engineering teams on infrastructure risk • Mentor teammates toward independence • Help shape the growth of the reliability function

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years running production infrastructure on AWS and Azure at real scale, ideally for a SaaS product • Production Kubernetes and Terraform experience, with real incidents behind you, not only deployments • Hands-on incident ownership from detection to postmortem • Strong automation skills, ideally in Python and Bash • Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana or CloudWatch • Comfort making and defending judgment calls without a manager in the room • Experience mentoring other engineers • Comfort in a mixed-language environment • Habit of using AI tools in daily work • Must be based in the United States • Must be authorized to work in the United States
