đ Description
âą Provide Christ-centered leadership and management for SILâs Language Technology department âą Strengthening existing funding and revenue streams âą Reorganizing LangTech operations, budgeting, and other operations âą Expanding the LangTech workforce through open collaboration and recruiting âą Representing SIL in the Language Development and Bible translation technology communities. âą Clarifying and strengthening Services relationships with SIL Areas and other organizations.
đŻ Requirements
âą Five years or more experience in computer science and/or software engineering âą Experience in organizational management and leading software development teams âą Strong familiarity with software development processes âą Experience working in a language program or familiarity with field methods used in Bible translation and language description and analysis preferred âą Cross-cultural experience is a plus.
