• Lead end-to-end payroll project lifecycles across global and regional scopes • Drive key initiatives including new payroll setups, vendor transitions, and technology integrations • Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and stakeholder updates • Translate complex business and technical needs into clear, actionable deliverables • Ensure rigorous testing, quality assurance, and documentation across all implementations • Contribute to post-project reviews and ongoing process improvements • Act as a subject matter expert during times of change, providing hands-on payroll support • Troubleshoot issues across processing, reconciliations, and vendor interactions • Partner with third-party vendors (e.g., CloudPay, local payroll providers) to ensure compliance and timely delivery • Support payroll across multiple European countries including Poland, Germany, Italy, and France • Contribute to audits, reviews, and development of payroll SOPs and controls
• 5+ years' experience in payroll operations and/or project-based payroll delivery • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, cross-border operations, and vendor management • Experience with CloudPay and/or Workday integrations • Ability to work autonomously, with sound decision-making and stakeholder communication skills • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Comfortable working in complex, fast-moving environments • Desirable (Not Essential): Experience working in shared services or managed service payroll environments • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative global relationships.
