📋 Description

‱ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance. ‱ Define and execute the overall SEO strategy across multiple brands, covering technical, on-site, and off-site SEO. ‱ Guide the team's execution of the technical SEO roadmap in partnership with Product and Engineering. ‱ Oversee and scale content initiatives to expand the brand's organic footprint, providing strategic direction on keyword targeting and content structure. ‱ Provide strategic guidance and regular feedback to the Senior Content Manager to ensure all content is optimized for search. ‱ Establish a rigorous framework for designing and implementing SEO experiments to drive traffic and rank improvements. ‱ Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with search engine guidelines and prevent rank loss. ‱ Conduct and guide the team in competitive analysis, identifying new opportunities and closing competitor gaps. ‱ Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure the SEO ‱ Showcase and report on progress to leadership team with clear reporting, action plan and strategy.

🎯 Requirements

‱ 7-10 yrs of experience in SEO with a focus on: organic search optimisation, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimisation, and technical SEO. ‱ Proven track record in building an SEO team (managing a team of internal/external SEO professionals); with a strategic mindset to develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals and drive organic growth. ‱ In depth knowledge of Search engine algorithms, ranking factors and best practices wrt keyword research, website analysis and SEO performance tracking ‱ Understanding and knowledge of technical SEO aspects s.a. website crawling and indexing, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalisation, structured data, and site speed optimisation. ‱ Strong analytical skills to interpret SEO data, track KPIs, digest big data sets, identify trends and opportunities for improvement and present insights & recommendations ‱ Experience with and understanding of SEO analytical tools s.a. Google Search Console and Google Analytics and other SEO monitoring and reporting platforms. ‱ Strong understanding of content marketing and its integration with SEO and the ability to collaborate with content marketing teams to develop and optimize content strategies that align with SEO goals and drive organic traffic. ‱ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate SEO strategies, recommendations, and performance reports to stakeholders at various levels. ‱ The ability to adapt to changes in search engine algorithms, industry trends, and business priorities ‱ Strong problem-solving abilities and organisational skills, coupled with a self-reliant mindset.
