📋 Description

• Develop and evolve Smallpdf's Organic Search strategy across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery experiences • Identify opportunities across technical SEO, product-led SEO, programmatic SEO, content, international SEO, and AI Visibility • Adapt search strategy as the search landscape evolves • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact • Partner with Data to connect Search to activation, subscriptions, retention, and new ARR • Build an experimentation culture using evidence-based decision-making • Coach and support an experienced SEO team • Establish planning, prioritization, and reporting processes • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and Marketing • Define and execute Smallpdf's AI Visibility strategy across LLM-powered discovery platforms • Experiment to increase visibility, authority, and brand presence • Stay ahead of emerging Search changes and best practices • Work directly with the VP of Growth • Influence organic growth for a product used by more than 60 million people monthly

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of SEO experience • Experience owning SEO strategy end-to-end across technical SEO, content, on-page, off-page, and product-led initiatives • Ability to connect SEO initiatives to customer acquisition, activation, subscriptions, revenue, and long-term growth • Strong understanding of algorithm updates, evolving ranking systems, and changing search landscapes • Technical SEO knowledge including crawling, indexation, internal linking, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and international SEO • Analytical and experimental approach, including hypothesis formation, testing, measurement, and iteration • Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools • Ability to collaborate with Analytics teams to measure business impact • Ability to move between strategic leadership and hands-on execution • Interest in AI Visibility and LLM optimization, or active experimentation and learning in this area • English CV required; English is Smallpdf's standard working language • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship in the EU/EEA, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Ireland, or Serbia • Formal people management experience is welcome but not essential
