📋 Description

• Define and drive the technology and architecture strategy supporting a critical, high-growth trading environment • Provide senior leadership across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security architecture • Own the end-to-end architecture blueprint • Guide transformation initiatives that simplify the technology estate, reduce complexity, enable faster delivery, strengthen risk management, and improve operational efficiency • Partner with Trading, Risk, and Technology leadership to translate business ambitions into architectural solutions • Shape the evolution of the ETRM ecosystem • Drive platform modernisation, standardisation, and rationalisation • Embed best practices and non-functional requirements by design • Influence enterprise-wide architecture decisions • Lead governance and vendor strategy • Mentor architects • Support expanding trading capabilities with robust, future-ready architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive enterprise architecture experience in complex environments • Deep expertise in energy trading, risk management, and ETRM platforms, including trading, risk, scheduling, pricing, settlements, and market operations • Strong understanding of energy markets, trading lifecycles, risk, and regulatory requirements • Ability to apply emerging technologies to evolving business and operating models • Proven leadership of large-scale transformation programmes • Experience with platform modernisation, application rationalisation, architecture governance, and roadmap development • Expertise in SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, microservices, event-driven and high-availability architectures, open data, SOA, and predictive analytics
