📋 Description

• Represent SOCOTEC professionally and promote quality, safety and excellent client service • Undertake Certificates of Reoccupation and Certificates of Cleanliness • Perform asbestos air monitoring duties • Carry out asbestos surveys and reinspections • Prepare accurate sampling records, technical reports, site plans and associated project documentation • Follow quality management systems and established procedures • Support compliance with relevant standards and UKAS accreditation requirements • Contribute to internal quality audits and external proficiency testing schemes • Maintain technical competence and service quality • Keep up to date with asbestos legislation, industry guidance and recognised best practice • Work on a nuclear decommissioning site at Trawsfynydd in North Wales • Collaborate with colleagues and clients while working independently when required

🎯 Requirements

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role • Full UK driving licence • Experience carrying out Certificates of Reoccupation, Certificates of Cleanliness and a range of air monitoring activities • Experience technically reviewing asbestos survey reports and air monitoring documentation • Strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, health and safety requirements, and UKAS-accredited procedures • Up to date with current industry standards, trends and developments within the asbestos sector • Excellent communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision • Highly organised, methodical and detail-oriented • Logical approach to problem-solving • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong interpersonal and self-management skills • Flexible and proactive, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
