📋 Description
• Perform in-situ testing on busy earthworks projects • Carry out laboratory testing when not on site • Determine the physical properties of concrete, earthworks, aggregates, and bituminous mixtures • Ensure materials comply with specifications • Undertake testing in line with British, European, and American standards • Sample and schedule materials for submission to the laboratory • Train colleagues to improve their knowledge and enhance team capabilities • Complete testing and fully fill in worksheets • Read and understand earthworks specifications • Communicate with managers and clients • Manage time to ensure attendance on site when required
🎯 Requirements
• Dependable, dedicated, and flexible • Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently • Good attention to detail • Ability to follow testing procedures • Good organisational skills • Ability to read and understand an earthworks specification • Strong communication with managers and clients • Excellent time management • Ability to work to relevant testing standards • CSCS preferable but not essential • Full UK driving licence
