📋 Description
• Complete a 3-month site- and office-based training programme • Identify and monitor asbestos in buildings • Check airborne fibre levels before work begins • Test for leaks while work is ongoing • Carry out air testing after work to confirm areas are safe • Report health and safety concerns to clients and stop work when necessary • Prepare final project reports, including waste documents, for building safety files • Travel regularly to client sites across the region • Work with clients across defence, infrastructure, service, retail, and heritage sectors
🎯 Requirements
• No experience needed • Ability to work as part of a team and independently • Interest in varied site environments and regular travel to different locations • Keen eye for detail and interest in analytical work, particularly using microscopes • Strong time management and organisational skills • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Full manual UK driving licence required • Willingness to complete intensive training and learn asbestos air monitoring
