📋 Description

• Complete an intensive 3-month site- and office-based training programme in asbestos air monitoring • Undertake a six-month training programme toward attainment of the P402 surveying qualification • Identify and monitor asbestos in buildings • Check airborne fibre levels before work begins • Test for leaks while work is in progress • Carry out post-work air testing to confirm areas are safe for reuse • Report health and safety concerns to clients and stop work when necessary • Prepare final reports containing project details and waste documents for building safety files • Record inspection data and produce reports subject to authorisation • Maintain equipment, including calibrations, servicing, and records • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the working environment • Ensure work follows documented procedures and the quality system

🎯 Requirements

• No experience needed; full training provided • Ability to work as part of a team and independently • Interest in varied site environments and willingness to travel to different locations • Keen eye for detail and interest in analytical work, particularly using microscopes • Strong time management and organisational skills • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Full manual UK driving licence required • Willingness to complete the P403 qualification • Willingness to undertake the P402 surveying qualification training programme
