📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reporting records. • Process payroll, vendor payments, and client invoicing in QuickBooks. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and project teams to ensure accurate billing and expense tracking. • Reconcile client accounts, commissions, and project-based revenue recognition. • Support audits, tax preparation, and compliance with federal/state financial regulations. • Identify process improvements and enhance accounting workflows within the MSP framework.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or technology services company • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) required • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and month-end processes • Experience with project-based billing, recurring revenue models, and service contracts • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
