📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate litigation in IP, competition, and regulatory areas, including oversight of amicus briefs. • Manage IP strategy, licensing, copyright matters, and a small patent portfolio, with emphasis on open-source matters. • Provide legal guidance on participation in international standards bodies. • Advise on competition law and regulatory matters in collaboration with public policy colleagues. • Represent the organization in engagements with regulators, governments, and industry stakeholders. • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, product, and technical teams. • Collaborate across the Legal & Policy team on issues spanning IP, competition, privacy, and regulation.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing. • 8+ years of relevant legal experience, including in-house experience at a technology company. • Strong intellectual property background, with demonstrated expertise in software licensing and open source. • Experience managing litigation in the U.S. • Familiarity with competition/antitrust issues and interest in regulatory developments. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to partner effectively across technical and policy teams. • Intellectual curiosity and passion for technology, open source, and global regulatory issues.
