📋 Description

• Oversee and manage quality assurance and control processes for PV EPC projects in the assigned Southwest region • Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System, SOPs, and contract requirements • Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems for industry, regulatory, and customer compliance • Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing and completed projects • Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems, and processes used in PV projects • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance and control practices and company procedures • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality-related issues • Maintain quality records and prepare reports for management and clients • Use SOLV’s proprietary Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters • Conduct formal audits of documentation, reporting methods, installation processes, material handling, and vendor product performance • Conduct and document root cause analyses using 5-Why or 8D methods • Create, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis • Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions • Ensure project compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices • Travel regularly to project sites for training, audits, and First Article Inspections; meet with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies; and occasionally attend seminars, conferences, and meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry • Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. are all highly desirable • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies • Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety • Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in quality management software and tools • Ability to work as part of a team • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
