📋 Description

• Support and evolve Sophos Life, the employee engagement and culture communications program • Develop employee storytelling initiatives covering achievements, team successes, volunteering, wellbeing, learning and development, inclusion, belonging, and culture • Build a sustainable content pipeline with HR, Employee Resource Groups, regional teams, and business functions • Develop and deliver internal communications plans aligned with business priorities and employee needs • Own and maintain the internal communications editorial calendar • Advise stakeholders on audiences, messaging, communication approaches, channels, timing, and delivery plans • Partner with senior leaders on leadership communications, announcements, emails, blogs, talking points, FAQs, presentations, and employee-facing materials • Support communications for organizational changes, strategic initiatives, and business priorities • Create and edit communications across intranet, email, newsletters, campaigns, video, and digital employee channels • Manage and evolve intranet content and internal communication experiences • Create employee engagement, culture, People, HR, and organizational campaigns • Measure communication effectiveness using engagement metrics, channel analytics, and employee feedback • Use AI tools and emerging technologies to support research, planning, content creation, productivity, and communication innovation • Report to the Senior Director, Internal Communications & Employee Experience

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in internal communications, employee engagement, corporate communications, or a related discipline • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communications strategies within a complex organization • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for different audiences • Experience advising and partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery • Experience managing communication campaigns, editorial calendars, and multiple priorities • Strong understanding of employee experience, engagement principles, and internal communication best practices • Experience managing digital communication channels such as intranets or employee platforms • Experience using communication analytics and insights to measure impact and improve effectiveness • Experience using AI tools for communications, content creation, or productivity • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver high-quality work at pace • Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the position is posted, without requiring employer sponsorship • Nice to have: experience in global technology or cybersecurity, executive communications, employee engagement or culture programs, multimedia content, SharePoint or similar intranet platforms, new communication tools or AI-enabled ways of working, and employee insights or engagement survey data
