📋 Description

• Select patches for Exadata, GRID, Database, E-Business, Weblogic, JAVA, OPA, OHS, and APEX products • Analyze patches, including application order, prerequisites, post-requisites, and configuration steps • Liaise with payroll, functional, developer, testing, project management, and other DBA teams during patch processes • Download and apply patches to systems • Produce DBA instructions for experienced DBAs to follow • Investigate patch errors and discrepancies • Interrogate database and alert log files • Support Oracle E-Business Systems patching, with future scope to work on Oracle Fusion

🎯 Requirements

• Eligible for Developed Vetting (DV) clearance • Comfortable with My Oracle Support and able to work through its documentation • Understanding and exposure to Oracle GRID/Database RDBMS 19C • Understanding of CDB/PDB and Dual FS • Exposure to applying patches, especially via ADOP on E-Business systems • Exadata and RAC experience is desired but not essential
