• Develops, implements, and oversees the SOSi Safety Management Program. • Conducts hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and risk mitigation planning. • Ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations. • Leads safety briefings, training, and awareness campaigns for staff and deployable teams. • Establishes QA/QC standards, procedures, and performance metrics for ERSS operations. • Conducts inspections, audits, and evaluations of facilities, equipment, and operational processes. • Tracks non‑conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Maintains documentation required for ASPR reporting, audits, and compliance reviews. • Provides safety oversight during emergency activations, deployments, and surge operations. • Supports Incident Command or Unified Command structures as a safety advisor or technical specialist. • Ensures safe operations in field environments, including staging areas, deployment sites, and mobile facilities. • Monitors environmental controls, hazardous materials handling, waste management, and indoor air quality. • Ensures proper use of PPE, safety equipment, and emergency response gear. • Oversees accident investigations, incident reporting, and root‑cause analysis. • Collaborates with operations, logistics, facilities, and medical teams to ensure integrated safety practices. • Coordinates with federal partners (HHS/ASPR, FEMA, DoW) and local authorities on safety and compliance matters. • Provides clear, actionable safety guidance to leadership and field personnel. • Maintains safety records, training logs, inspection reports, and QA/QC documentation. • Supports development of SOPs, safety plans, and quality management plans. • Prepares reports, dashboards, and briefings for program leadership and government stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, public health, business or public administration, or related field. • 7 years experience in safety management, quality assurance, quality control, or EHS programs. • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and risk management practices. • Experience conducting inspections, audits, and safety training. • Ability to work in fast‑paced, operational, or emergency response environments. • Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. • U.S. citizenship required. • May have to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance (depending on customer).
