📋 Description

• Join client engineering teams as an embedded software engineer. • Deliver production-quality software alongside client developers. • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery while maintaining engineering quality. • Build and customise AI agents that improve engineering workflows and software delivery. • Introduce practical AI-enabled development practices through everyday collaboration with engineering teams. • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering work and improve development efficiency. • Share successful engineering patterns across client engagements and contribute directly to the ongoing evolution of PIPE44. • Work closely with AI Solutions Architects to ensure technical delivery supports each client's broader AI transformation objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building production software across backend, fullstack or platform engineering. • Strong backend engineering experience in one or more modern programming languages. • Experience designing and building modern web applications, APIs and distributed software systems. • Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices and maintainable production code. • Experience contributing across modern frontend technologies is advantageous. • Comfortable learning new languages, frameworks and client technology stacks quickly. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools. • Working knowledge of LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and agentic development approaches. • Proficiency with Git version control. • Track record of reliable, consistent delivery in remote engineering teams. • Comfortable working inside established engineering processes while contributing improvements. • Strong ownership mentality, you deliver what you commit to. • Business-fluent English (written and verbal).
