📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary design process for large-scale Data Centre projects, including hyperscale and colocation developments • Coordinate the CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) disciplines • Manage and oversee external engineering and design consultants • Review designs, specifications, drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation • Manage interfaces between disciplines and identify and resolve technical conflicts • Oversee the design programme, delivery milestones, and engineering package planning • Ensure solutions are technically viable, constructible, efficient, and compatible with operational requirements • Identify technical risks, delays, and design deviations, proposing corrective measures • Coordinate design reviews, technical meetings, workshops, and approval processes • Collaborate with the construction team to facilitate the transition from design to on-site execution • Work with commissioning and start-up teams to ensure compliance with operational requirements, testing, and final handover • Manage design changes and assess their impact on schedules, costs, quality, and execution • Maintain communication with the Project Manager, client, engineering teams, and contractors • Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards, coordination processes, and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline • Demonstrable experience in design management and coordination for Data Centre projects • Direct experience with large-scale projects, preferably in hyperscale, colocation, or critical infrastructure environments • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, including CSA and MEP disciplines • Experience managing external consultants, technical deliverables, engineering interfaces, and design review and approval processes • Ability to assess design quality, constructibility, and integration with construction and commissioning phases • Experience in planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and resolving technical issues • Knowledge of design and development processes for complex construction projects • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage priorities in an international environment • Excellent communication, organisational, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills • Willingness to travel occasionally to projects across Europe • Professional-level spoken and written English (essential)
