đź“‹ Description

• Deliver psychiatric assessments following referral from clinical triage or therapy services • Provide diagnostic clarification and formulation input • Conduct risk assessments and safety planning • Provide medication advice and prescribing recommendations • Deliver follow-up psychiatric review sessions where clinically indicated • Support complex case formulation • Operate within Step-5 of the stepped-care model • Support escalation decisions and MDT collaboration • Provide consultation to therapy teams on complex presentations • Work with Clinical Lead, psychologists, HI-CBT therapists, counsellors, and 24/7 team • Participate in case consultations and MDT discussions • Support referral to NHS secondary care where appropriate • Provide GP communication and documentation • Liaise with crisis services if required • Participate in incident review and safeguarding processes • Maintain NICE-aligned, evidence-based documentation • Support outcome monitoring and governance processes

🎯 Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) • GMC registration with licence to practise • GMC Specialist Register (Psychiatry) • Psychiatry experience • Experience in psychiatric assessment and risk management • Experience working in MDT settings • Tele-psychiatry experience desirable • Professional indemnity insurance • Enhanced DBS (or equivalent) • Commitment to CPD and NICE-aligned practice
