📋 Description

• Product Strategy: Define and maintain a clear strategy, vision, and narrative for your vertical; translate company goals into measurable product goals, KPIs, and north-star metrics; ensure your area supports broader platform and company objectives • Product Discovery: Lead customer and internal interviews, research, and analysis; leverage usage analytics, competitive insights, and market trends; identify high-value problems and opportunities using evidence, not assumptions • Requirements & Specifications: Write clear specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics; ensure engineering and design understand the “why” behind each requirement; maintain a well-documented, healthy backlog • Prioritisation & Decision-Making: Use frameworks such as RICE or MoSCoW to make transparent prioritisation decisions; balance customer value, technical complexity, business impact, and strategic alignment; make and defend tough calls with clarity • Design & Delivery Oversight: Lead direction, sequencing, and delivery within the squad; understand architecture, constraints, and trade-offs; ensure shipped work solves real problems — not just matches a spec • Go-to-Market & Internal Enablement: Create supporting materials (release notes, help guides, one-pagers, internal docs) and lead product briefings to enable Sales, Success, and Support. Help them understand what’s shipping, why it matters, and how to position it clearly with customers. Represent your vertical to clients when appropriate • Continuous Improvement: Monitor adoption, performance, reliability, and feedback; drive iterative improvements; own the long-term clarity and consistency of your product area • Process & Team Leadership: Run the operating rhythms for your vertical (refinement, planning, reviews, release coordination); keep your squad predictable, unblocked, and aligned; partner with engineering and design leads for technical quality and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS, with experience in startups or scale-ups where the product was complex, flexible, and evolving — and where PMs had to create clarity, not inherit it. • End-to-end product ownership — not just executing someone else’s plan. Experience as the sole PM, founder, or product lead on a small team, with real responsibility for strategy, direction, and delivery under ambiguity • Holistic perspective — considers customer needs, technical constraints, commercial context, and internal enablement. Accountable for outcomes and able to articulate why product decisions matter • Excellent communicator — clear, concise, credible, and able to create clarity for others in fast-moving environments • Strong ownership mindset — operates like the CEO of their vertical, maintains a high bar for quality, and takes accountability for outcomes • Confident, authoritative decision-maker — able to influence stakeholders, hold their ground, and navigate strong opinions with clarity and calm • Proven product operator — end-to-end ownership of a product or major feature area in B2B SaaS. Ideally, you’ve been the only PM on something before, worked in a startup where you made product decisions solo, or launched something of your own • Skilled in discovery — customer interviews, usability testing, data analysis, and insight synthesis. You’ve set the direction for what to build — not just validated ideas handed to you. • High technical literacy — understands architecture, workflows, constraints, and trade-offs • Data-driven — uses evidence to guide prioritisation, decisions, and measurement • Effective cross-functional leader — directs day-to-day work across engineering, design, CS, sales, and marketing; runs the core operating rhythms of a product vertical • Represents the product and company confidently — able to speak with customers, partners, and internal teams with credibility. You know how to translate product work into clear business value — and how to explain that to Sales and Success in a way that helps them tell the story
