📋 Description

• Support our internal sales organization and external clients while promoting customer retention • Develop programs and processes to foster excellence in relationships with new and established brokers and employers • Lead a team of high performing sales support team members to meet organizational goals and provide quality representation in the marketplace • Coach, mentor and develop team members, providing career development planning and opportunities • Manage escalations within the team • Responsible for concept design, data analysis, and external reporting to brokers and employer groups as well as data analysis and internal reporting to management • Enhance and expand broker relationship, ensuring superior customer service while implementing strategic initiatives to retain and increase block of business and improve processes • Work closely with sales, enrollment, finance, customer service, claims, underwriting and IT to coordinate all support services for assigned customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but may be substituted with additional experience • At least 4 years of management experience is required • At least 5 years of experience in insurance operations, insurance premium account management, or insurance relationship management is required • Must have experience in broker management, customer onboarding, and sales service experience • Must have working knowledge of employee benefits products; voluntary benefits is highly preferred • Ability to travel 10% of the year • Understanding of Lean management or Six Sigma concepts • Professional designations such as CLU and ChFC are desirable
