📋 Description

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Docker-based test environments for local and CI use • Write and update Dockerfiles and Docker Compose setups • Identify tooling improvements, propose solutions, and contribute to the team roadmap • Maintain and improve GitHub Actions workflows for test suites • Help define release validation for containerized deployments across configurations and version combinations • Participate in product kick-offs and refinement • Perform manual, exploratory, and automated testing of product features • Document, track, and verify defects • Gather feedback on internal tools, iterate, communicate changes, and drive adoption • Identify, track, and fix flaky tests • Make test data self-contained and API-seeded for freshly provisioned environments • Collaborate with QA, software, and DevOps engineers to improve Storyblok’s reusable testing ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field • 7+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer in Test • Strong, hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript • Solid, practical experience with Docker, including reading and writing Dockerfiles, working with multi-container setups, and debugging containerized environments • Solid experience with manual and exploratory testing • Ability to turn testing findings into clear, actionable defect reports • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across QA, development, and DevOps • Demonstrated AI literacy, including use of AI tools to improve productivity and quality while applying sound judgment and critical thinking
