📋 Description

• Own projects end-to-end with clarity, technical excellence, and accountability, ensuring high-quality standards across teams. • Champion quality and coding standards, promoting engineering excellence, and driving continuous improvement. • Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reliable automated tests across frontend and backend using Playwright and TypeScript. • Think strategically about test automation; collaborate with developers to ensure balanced test coverage within the testing pyramid. • Contribute to and evolve the overall testing strategy, improving QA processes and metrics. • Prepare and review test plans to validate both functional and non-functional requirements. • Perform manual and exploratory testing; document, track, and verify defects to ensure product excellence. • Analyze test results and monitor key testing metrics to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement. • Participate actively in project kick-offs to understand requirements, anticipate risks, and influence testability from the earliest stages. • Advocate for user experience and product quality, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering to align QA goals with delivery outcomes. • Identify and communicate issues, risks, or dependencies early, escalating to product leadership when necessary. • Mentor and support teammates, fostering an open, empathetic environment that encourages learning, feedback, and high-quality automation practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 7+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer. • 3+ years of proven experience in test automation across frontend and backend using Playwright. • Strong proficiency in TypeScript with experience building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks. • Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions). • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align across technical and product teams. • High attention to detail, proven ability to deliver results and a strong motivation to contribute to organizational growth in a high-performing environment. • Experience in defining and driving test automation standards across teams. • Experience mentoring QA engineers in test design, coding practices, and quality ownership. • Demonstrates AI literacy, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.
