📋 Description

• Own parts of the TypeScript monorepo product backend on serverless edge infrastructure with Postgres • Build and maintain the integration between the Go/Kubernetes recording pipeline and the product • Develop Kafka consumers and idempotent, out-of-order-tolerant webhook ingestion • Build a gRPC control plane for consent and playback • Implement analytics reads from ClickHouse • Scale the recording pipeline from dozens to thousands of concurrent recordings • Manage worker fleet capacity, memory budgets, segment spool windows, consumer throughput, egress strategy, and retention/deletion machinery • Contribute to a greenfield analysis pipeline that transcribes, classifies, and labels VOD content for searchability and licensing • Own operational aspects including dashboards, alerts, error budgets, deployment discipline, incident response, and postmortems • Work with typed, contract-first systems and shared schemas across backend, web, and app • Review AI coding agent output and build safety guardrails such as tests and CI gates • Collaborate in a micro team with direct feedback from founders

🎯 Requirements

• Experience operating real systems that ran, broke, and improved because of you • Strong TypeScript skills, with curiosity about Go • Comfortable with Postgres and at least one of Kafka, ClickHouse, or Kubernetes • Habitual focus on contracts, idempotency, and failure modes • Desire for real ownership and accountability • Clear written communication and ability to explain technical decisions • Experience reading or writing Go in production systems preferred • Experience operating distributed, event-driven infrastructure such as Kafka and Kubernetes at scale preferred • Familiarity with contract-first/schema-driven development, including protobuf and gRPC, preferred • Comfort working alongside AI coding agents as a core engineering workflow preferred • Ability to work with European working-hours overlap
