• Build and enhance applications, SDKs, and services that run on or communicate with physical Stripe Terminal devices • Design, build and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin • Enable payment applications for a variety of devices and form factors • Build frameworks for internal and external engineers to develop on Stripe's custom platform • Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to bring new features and products to Stripe Terminal users • Collaborate with Android developers across Stripe to set Android development best practices • Work with user research and product design to understand users and address their needs
🎯 Requirements
• 1.5+ years of experience in Android Development • Experience working with either Kotlin or Java • (Preferred) 2 - 6 years of experience in Android Development • (Preferred) Payments expertise or knowledge • (Preferred) Custom hardware experience on the Android platform (bonus) • (Preferred) Some experience in Backend service development • (Preferred) Ability to prefer simple, lasting, and scalable solutions • (Preferred) Thrive in collaborative environments and work with cross-functional stakeholders • (Preferred) Empathy for users and ability to craft great developer and consumer experiences
