📋 Description
• We are seeking a skilled and dynamic part-time SEO-focused Test Prep Writer to join our team as a contractor. • The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who thrives in developing engaging, data-driven content focused on education-related topics for a U.S.-based audience. • This role involves conducting thorough research on assigned topics, editing published articles, as well as outlining/writing new articles. • The successful candidate must demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple content writing assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • All work is paid work is paid hourly. • Research and write about education-related topics for a US-based audience • Seamlessly incorporate marketing claims and product descriptions into copy • Create outlines for articles based on research and/or a content brief • Incorporate keywords while maintaining high readability • Evaluate competitors and ensure content can beat them in the rankings • Write unique copy in every article
🎯 Requirements
• Working hours must include at least 2 hours of overlap with the 1PM – 8 PM Pacific Standard Time window • Minimum 3-5 years of writing SEO content • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, grammar, and consistency • Demonstrated success in researching and publishing content • Experience optimizing content for both user experience and search engine performance (on-page SEO) • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, etc.) • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks across multiple assignments • Prior work experience in a remote setting • Familiarity with supportive tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Canva
