📋 Description

• Support the migration of infrastructure, systems, and services into Azure • Assess and document existing on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based environments • Design and implement lift-and-shift, replatforming, or modernisation migration strategies • Maintain security, compliance, and governance standards throughout migrations • Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues • Collaborate with project managers to track progress and manage risks • Produce technical documentation and handover materials • Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams post-migration • Migrate servers and virtual machines • Migrate Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) • Migrate file services and storage • Migrate line-of-business applications • Support tenant consolidation and identity integration across multiple entities • Work with internal IT teams, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders during transitions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure • Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, and Storage • Experience with Azure Migrate and related tooling • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, identity management, and hybrid identity • Proven experience delivering infrastructure migration or transformation projects • Experience migrating on-premises environments (VMware / Hyper-V) • Experience migrating existing cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) • Solid understanding of networking, including VPNs, firewalls, and routing • Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments • Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions • Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Experience within professional services or accountancy firms • Familiarity with accountancy platforms such as CCH & IRIS • Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, such as ARM, Bicep, and Terraform • Familiarity with endpoint management (Intune) • Familiarity with data migration tools and strategies
