📋 Description

• Administer, monitor, and optimize Epic Clarity and Caboodle databases to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. • Manage database configuration, security, backup/recovery, and change control processes. • Collaborate with Epic analysts and data architects to develop efficient queries, indexes, and stored procedures. • Implement performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource allocation strategies. • Ensure database compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and institutional data governance standards. • Support data integration, upgrades, and migrations within the Epic ecosystem. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data models, workflows, and operational procedures. • Provide on-call support and participate in incident response for critical database systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, including database design, implementation, and maintenance. • Experience supporting Epic or other healthcare enterprise systems. • Experience in an academic medical center, healthcare, or similarly regulated environment. • Strong understanding of data security, integrity, and compliance principles. • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning for databases. • Certifications: Cogito Systems Administration
