📋 Description

• Independently negotiate and maintain best pricing for new and recurring items within designated contracts • Cultivate supplier relationships and maintain supply chain redundancy • Continuously improve costs, reduce supply lead times, and establish tiered supplier costs • Obtain current pricing and lead times; perform data entry • Manage workload for assigned commodities and contract items • Review, monitor, and replenish stocked items • Perform inventory forecast analysis based on sales history and customer demand • Maintain quality assurance and contract compliance under government requirements and AS9120B standards • Manage technical data, including potential First Article Testing and other quality procedures • Communicate with management and external providers • Resolve non-conformances with internal and external stakeholders • Issue purchase orders, follow up on backorders, expedite or reschedule deliveries

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree, or 3 years of procurement experience • Proven experience in procurement, or supply chain preferred • Military personnel with relevant training or experience may substitute for civilian experience • Excellent negotiating skills • Highly meticulous and organized; able to execute multiple projects at once and adhere to deadlines • Ability to read and interpret technical data and drawings • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software is a plus • Proficiency using JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Software highly preferred • Required to be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent residency (green card holder)
