📋 Description

• Own the Accounts Payable process, including supplier invoice review and coding in ApprovalMax/Xero, payment preparation, supplier statement reconciliations and vendor master data • Prepare and manage general ledger entries, accruals and prepayments • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closes for all group entities in collaboration with external accounting firms • Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and account analysis • Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations, recharges and settlements across group entities • Support VAT and other tax compliance across jurisdictions, including VAT returns, reverse charge and withholding taxes, with external tax advisors • Prepare audit files and support annual and interim audits of group entities • Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes • Manage technical and routine accounting tasks accurately and consistently

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • Around 5 years of accounting experience, ideally starting at a Big 4 firm in audit or accounting outsourcing • Strong accounting background, including general ledger accounting, closing, reconciliations, accruals and the full accounting cycle • Experience with multi-entity groups, intercompany accounting and ideally consolidation • Hands-on Accounts Payable experience • Experience coaching or reviewing junior team members is a plus • Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax compliance; international or cross-border VAT exposure is a plus • Experience preparing for and working with external auditors • Hands-on experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills; familiarity with Xero and ApprovalMax is a plus • Interest in crypto and/or crypto accounting is a plus • Fluent English; French is a bonus • Proactive, detail-oriented and independent working style, comfortable in a remote, international team
