• Lead research projects focused on mortality and morbidity risk across diverse populations • Analyse and interpret complex structured and unstructured datasets to identify meaningful life and health trends • Develop forecasting models that predict long-term life and health patterns with statistical rigour • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations • Communicate insights to internal stakeholders and external clients through compelling presentations and reports • Stay current with emerging medical advancements, technological innovations, and societal shifts affecting life and health outcomes • Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and collaborative inquiry • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through publications, conferences, and client engagements
• Qualified actuary with at least 5 years' experience in L&H insurance • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Data Science, or related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in life and health research, mortality analysis, or similar analytical roles • Proven expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques, particularly as applied to life and health outcomes • Strong programming skills in R, Python, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders • Curious and interest on understanding the drivers of mortality and morbidity risk
