• Manage the general ledger team and accounting processes. • Oversee coordination of deliverables for financial statements and audits, ensuring compliance with global accounting policies and procedures. • Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including preparation of journal entries, account/variance analysis, and audit coordination. • Generate accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal policies. • Assist in setting up financial systems and metrics to measure and communicate accurate financial status. • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. • Maintain, document, and review processes for internal controls. • Streamline department functions to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and accuracy. • Support year-end external audits. • Advance Global Finance strategic initiatives by attending meetings, providing subject matter expertise, and preparing ad hoc reports. • Collaborate with Global Finance team, leaders, and business units on ad hoc projects, including C-suite initiatives, analytics preparation, and implementation plans.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (7 years preferred). • Prior managerial experience. • CPA preferred. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Highly organized, self-starter with a hands-on approach. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with competing priorities and stringent deadlines. • Proven ability to build strong relationships, establish trust, and motivate teams. • Ability to effectively present ideas and influence senior executives. • Outstanding research, analytics, and quantitative aptitude with advanced attention to detail. • Ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills aligned with organizational goals. • Experience with accounting business cycles: treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Prior experience with external auditors preferred. • International experience preferred. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
